Abrimos este número 01.2022 de Libertad Jazzera de la mano de Christian Lovers y Patrick Shiroishi, con 40oz. of Shame, publicado este pasado 2021. De nuevo del saxofonista, Patrick Shiroishi, escuchamos Hidemi, publicado también este pasado 2021. La serie sobre las últimas novedades de John Zorn, la empezamos con Hive Mind, en el que encontramos al genio neoyorkino junto a Miles Okazaki, Trevor Dunn y Dan Weiss. La segunda entrega del universo zorniano nos lleva al estupendo Nostradamus (The Death Of Satan), del Ensemble Simulacrum o lo que es lo mismo, John Medeski, Matt Hollenberg y Kenny Grohowski. Y la tercera y última novedad desde Tzadik Records fue Meditations On the Tarot, en el que encontramos de nuevo a Zorn junto a Trevor Dunn, Kenny Wollensen y Brian Marsella.
